What is Upward Sports?

Welcome to Upward Sports. Whether you are a parent or child who wants to be a part of an excellent sports experience, or a church that wants to serve your community, Upward Sports is for you.  Upward is a sports ministry specifically designed for 5 to 13 year old boys and girls that promotes self-esteem, character and faith.   Children who play sports and have a positive experience, are more likely to stay with the sport as a life skill, and are also more likely to learn about values, teamwork and skill development in a way that will benefit them throughout life.

We want you to know that Upward sports treats Every Child as A Winner!  If you would like to find a league or camp in your area, please click on the GREEN BUTTON to the right.

Why Children?

Children are our future.  If the church can get involved with supporting local families in the community, then they can have an impact on that future.

A child’s moral foundation is in place by the age of 12 to 15.  Teaching relevant moral truths in the context of sports will provide a better chance of them being received.

75% of children have dropped out of organized sports by the age of 13.  Having a sports experience focused on fun and fairness may keep them involved for life
